Presentation of the book “The Scream of Innocence” by Francesco Terrone

Like every month, our union offers cultural and awareness-raising events in collaboration with other associations that, like us, are committed to advancing values such as integration, inclusion and diversity. This month, Welcome Association Italy brings you the presentation of the book "The Scream of Innocence" by Francesco Terrone. The author, a well-known appreciator of literature and the arts, as well as founder and president of the foundation of the same name, is dedicated to the dissemination of culture and philanthropic activities. Francesco Terrone's book was a resounding success at the April 20, 2023, presentation at the Italian Foreign Press headquarters in Rome, so much so that the event was replicated in a second round. The 'author of the book addresses a persistent and extremely topical problem, namely the suffering that millions of children are forced to endure due to conflicts of political, economic and social interests in countries plagued by war and injustice. In fact, the writer expresses his "funeral scream" in support of all children who find themselves living in critical circumstances through no fault of their own. The event, organized with the Italian-Arab association Assadakah and Fondazione Terrone, will be attended by: - Hajja Zeinab Ismail, chairman of the al Huda Mosque Board of Trustees; - Roberto Roggero, director, editor and manager of the Assadakah website; - Carlo Palumbo, Deputy National Secretary Welcome Association Italy; - Francesco Terrone, author.
