On the occasion of the exhibition "Seasons - The Colors of Eternal Change" by artist Karen Thomas, Welcome Association Italy and Progetto Minerva are pleased to announce the special evening "A Star Anise for All Seasons," scheduled for Sunday, July 27, 2025 at 6 p.m. at the "Lorenzo Lotto" Auditorium of the Villa Colloredo Mels Civic Museum in Recanati.
The initiative is dedicated to the Varnelli Distillery, a symbol of manufacturing excellence in the Marche region, and is part of the official exhibition calendar. An event that interweaves art, business and territory, enhancing cultural dialogue and collaboration between seemingly distant but deeply connected worlds.
Protagonist of the evening will be Orietta Maria Varnelli, who will accompany the audience in a fascinating tale of family memory, entrepreneurial intuition and cultural vision.
During the event, an exclusive preview will be presented of the collectible bottle of Anice Varnelli, embellished with an artist label created by Karen Thomas, the result of a collaboration with the promoters of the initiative.
The evening will conclude with a cocktail tasting based on Varnelli products, kindly offered to all participants.
As a partner in the initiative, Welcome Association Italy reconfirms its commitment to promoting cultural projects as active tools for social cohesion, intercultural exchange and inclusion.
"Supporting creativity means supporting integration, dialogue and mutual understanding. This is exactly the mission Welcome has been carrying out for years: to be a bridge between cultures."
"Collaborating on a project like this, which combines Italian excellence and international artistic sensibility, represents a concrete form of cultural diplomacy for us."
- Carlo Palumbo, Deputy National Secretary of Welcome Association Italy
