Bocconi University of Milan: international academic excellence

In the heart of Milan, Italy's economic and financial capital, stands one of the country's most prestigious academic institutions, and among the best in the world in its field: the Luigi Bocconi Commercial University.

Founded in 1902, Bocconi is now considered one of the best private universities globally, particularly in the fields of economics, management and social sciences. According to the QS World University Ranking 2025, Bocconi is seventh in the world in marketing and 10th in the business and management studies category.

History and international recognition

Bocconi University in Milan was founded by Ferdinando Bocconi in memory of his son Luigi, who died in the war. In 1902 it opened its doors, starting symbolically with the inauguration of its library, which today is one of the most relevant in Europe in the field of economic and social sciences.

How much does it cost to study at Bocconi

Studying at Bocconi is a major investment: annual tuition for bachelor's degrees in 2026 will be 16,700 euros and will rise to 18,200 euros for master's degrees.
