Presentation of the book “The Scream of Innocence ” by Francesco Terrone

Press release-November 9, 2023 On Thursday, November 9, 2023, the union Welcome Association Italy in collaboration with Assadakah Rome hosted the presentation of the book "The Scream of Innocence" by engineer and poet Francesco Terrone. The author, as well as founder and president of several associations such as "I.R.I.S. Edizioni," "International Academy for the Development of Science, Art, Culture Frederick II" and "Francesco Terrone Foundation," is well known in the field of Poetry, as evidenced by the even institutional honors he has been awarded. The cultural event took the form of not only the reading of some lyrical works but also a wonderful opportunity to promote and spread culture, peace and cooperation through poetry. A number of figures spoke, testifying to the significance of the cultural meeting: - Bruno Scapini, Former Italian Ambassador to Armenia; - Salama Ashour, cultural attaché at the Egyptian Embassy; - Hajjah Zeinab Ismail, chairman of the al Huda board of directors; - Roberto Roggero, director of the Assadakah website; - Talal Khrais, Assadakah's foreign affairs officer; - Carlo Palumbo, deputy national secretary of Welcome Association Italy. The theme of the meeting, as well as of the poetry book, is the preservation of the lives of children, blameless victims of adult injustice. Recognizing the importance of the suffering caused to children in various conflicts is essential, as they represent the future in the world. Finally, there was no shortage of calls for peace and deep sadness for what is happening in the world. The author, Francesco Terrone, thanked the guests and announced his future publications, again on the theme of war and childhood. He also concluded his thanks by expressing solidarity with children suffering atrocities in the Middle East, appealing to the international community to intervene to resolve the crisis. Following the event, in which various associations and institutions interfaced, there was no shortage of input and participation from various associations such as Princess Shahrazad, Al nas lil nas, and African People NGO.
